Jewelry Channel Anniversary

TJC has now been on air for one year and what an exciting year it has been. March 21, 2007 was my first day on the job. I had been a news reporter/anchor for many years and I was so excited to start out on a new adventure in home shopping television. I couldn’t have asked for a better company to start that adventure out with. I was thrilled to be a part of bringing fine jewelry to the homes of every American at a price that just about anyone could fit into their budget and what a fun new approach to home shopping with a drop auction format.

For many years I, just like many other Americans, dreamed of owning fine jewelry but the most we could hope for was admiring it from afar but now that has all changed. TJC has incorporated a fun, exciting and affordable approach to home shopping for fine jewelry. I am the type of person who loves to give to others and help others in need and this allows me to do both. Everyday I am able to be a part of giving outstanding prices on fine jewelry and I am also able to maybe provide it to those who otherwise couldn’t own it. I think about those who maybe are disabled and not able to leave their homes but still want to look and feel beautiful. They now can bid in the comfort of their own homes. It doesn’t matter what we look or feel like, when we put on a beautiful new piece of fine jewelry it just really lifts a person’s spirits. That makes me feel good.

It has been a great year of learning all about the different gemstones and how jewelry is made. I have loved it. Some of them I had never heard of before and now I feel I could talk all day about them. How amazing is it that these gemstones came from the earth, are millions of years old and we now get to adorn our bodies with them?

Every day that I come into work I think I am soooo lucky to be a part of such a fantastic company bringing such a fun, affordable concept to America. We have gained so many new family members and I feel like I have gained so many distant friends throughout the year with my regular viewers. I look so forward to many years to come with each and every one of you and I want you to know there are many more great things to come with TJC. Thanks for being a part of the TJC family.

Stacy
